The scourge of Ash Dieback is probably one of the most well-known and widespread problems among arborists, landowners, and anyone with an interest or passion for trees and aboriculture generally. It is caused by a fungus that Kent Resilience Manager Tony Harwood describes as an “accidental assassin”, affecting ancient woodlands and seminatural habitats across the UK and further afield in Europe.
